I saw something on tv about all those teams passing up Aaron Rodgers (24th) :ufdup:and wondered who we picked, turns out we didn't have a pick that year, traded it to Dallas (20th).

"The Cowboys received this pick from the Buffalo Bills as well as the Bills' second round pick in 2004 (43rd overall) and nope round pick in 2004 (144th overall) in exchange for the Cowboys' first round pick in the 2004 draft (22nd overall)."

Interesting, so who was our pick in 2004 :ohhh:

Entering training camp for the 1999 season, Phillips named Johnson and Flutie "co-number ones" before ultimately awarding Flutie the starting job.[23][24] Flutie led the Bills to a 10-5 record before Phillips decided to rest him for the final week of the season.[25] Facing the Indianapolis Colts and the Colts' second-year quarterback and number-one draft pick Peyton Manning, Johnson completed 24 of 32 passes for 287 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Bills won 31-6, ending the Colts' 11-game winning streak.[26] This performance led Phillips on the day after the game to name Johnson the starter for the Bills' opening round playoff game against the Tennessee Titans.[27]

smh. You lead your team to the Offs then get benched. Only the Bills. I don't remember this but im sure it stirred a lot of controversey

Oh, the football gods made Buffalo pay for that one. Music City Miracle was the next game for the Bills.......and they haven't made the playoffs since! :blessed:

at least we gave yall levitre. :manny:

anyways i remember telling rein and a few of yall on sohh there was no excuse not to tank in 2011. giving fitz an extension was a death wish. aaron williams was an oaf at texas, very individualistic type of dude. lets face it, buffalo is dying.

fixed

Rob did ball out in that game, the defenses in that game:wow: Still think we could have taken the Rams. Our d was just as good as Tennessee and w/Rob we had a better offense.
