Isn’t somebody (maybe bill gates) trying to build a city in Arizona ?

Is it worth it putting resources towards making sure Arizona has water, maybe Arizona isn’t meant to be a big state

It was never meant to be populated. When the Hoover Dam was built, Arizona wasn't Arizona yet; so the allotment of water went to California and Nevada.

It wasn't recently until Arizona started to say, "This is unfair, we NEED more water." but California and Nevada were pointing to the allotment back from 100 years ago.

Per the other posts as well, Arizona has become a goto spot for Seniors not wanting the humidity of Florida. Only problem is that Arizona is landlocked, that place is not suppose to have a plethora of water, just enough for the Natural Wildlife.

Those places should have had water regulated heavy in all use cases. No reason to be growing shyt like almonds and alfalfa in areas with comparatively low water access.

I'm worried the Great Lakes will be pillaged in the next 20 years as other areas also start to get worse.
The Great Lakes states and Canada won't play that shyt.

Arizona is a state that shouldn't have a high population. THe fact that people moved out there the last 60 years is still insane to me.

I can see the indigenous people that have lived and managed that place for thousands of years. But not suburbanite Americans who want green lawns and shyt.
