My friend and brother Broke Wave decided to neg rep me yesterday and accuse me of racism for the following comment I made:

They would be decimated even with weapons equal to Israel. Arabs and Persians haven't produced a decent military in centuries. That's why I give props to the Afghans and Pak is, those dudes are warriors.

Israel has one of the best trained forces in the world.

Now, he, like many others here and real life, don't know that all the groups listed above belong to the same race. We think of race as skin tone, mainly due to European ignorance and labeling, but this not a scientific stance. So, I decided since this is Higher Learning, maybe we should use this as a teachable moment.

Skin tone is but ONE phenotype/genetic identification of MANY.

Let's look at the facts:

You didn't say they were from the pre-modern-science descrpitive group "Caucasoid", you said they were Caucaisans, and that is simply not correct. With the advent of modern genetics, we know that all peoples in the world are mixed with another major group to some extent. When you call Arabs "Caucasians", this is a misnomer, because even the people of my country have been described as "Caucasian"

As far as Arabs being weak and me being an Arab worshipper, I am nothing of the sort, and they are nothing of the sort. No group of people is weak.

In 2006, Israel could NOT defeat Hezbollah, so they had a temper tantrum and destroyed the entire south Beirut. The Soviet Union was defeated by the MUJAHADEEN which was not only Afghans, but many Arabs, which became Al Qaeda.

Here comes the boyfriend, clearly upset that I offended his soul mate.

1)Hezbollah "defeated" Israel in two small skirmishes. Go look at what little Israel did to several much larger countries in several wars.

2) The Scientific stance is what I have posted. There are genetic and physical characteristics to certain groups of people.

They are weaker from a military standpoint. That is what I said.

TUH my dude this thread is slippery from the start. You can't possibly say "I'm not racist because my and this guy's races are vaguely the same in some genetic history way." So what? A Brit can be racist against an irishman even if they're basically mixtures of the same people
