Maybe, especially after the way he treated her at the end. But the way she seemed shaky before going to get on her flight got me wondering how she'll really handle her new world

Another thing i think it showed was cc has been off the street. He been loris side piece this season at her shoots for years.p He thought he could muscle frankie and bobby like they nobodies when that whole crew with big mike and black frankie are technically mob connected. Him and larry fake pimping.
CCs death in a way illustrates how naive some blacks are when it comes to playing chess in business. Yes he got muscled out of his main chick, but he did get paid and still had other girls. He simply needed to clear his head and figure out what his next hustle would be.
People take Ls in business everyday, but you gotta suck it up, learn, and move on.
Don King for all his BS managed to play the game at the highest level with the biggest hustlers/gangsters. You have to be ruthless yet smart.

You really cant generalize the mindstate of a pimp and blacks when it comes to business.
CC's mouth got him killed like Sobatka said.

A Pimps ego is designed for him not to take L's, but when they do, you have to take them in stride.
The Pimp business is ALL some business black men knew and played by those rules.
Larry is not, for example, broke the code and is beginning to look like a sub-par pimp or tricking acting on screen wanting to fukk hoes.
That was the issue with the porn game starting to blossom.
The issue with CC is, he sold off his rights to his hoe for 15k, so he doubled down and tried to finesse the producers on the back end.
Also CC was too desperate and broken to think and just realize that Frankie and sobatka are mob connected, and the same mob that cc was scared to mess with earlier. He is smart and he knew not to kill Dorothy but he was dumb to think he could push around the brehs at the parlor. Really just showed how out of touch he was and how far out of his elague the mob is at this point

The scene in season 1 with CC and the "retired" OG in the bar.. basically showed u CC was never going to grow and evolve past being a pimp.
Are we going to touch on how insecure CC was?

This season been dope so far..One thing I can't quite get is how diplomatic the mob guys are. There's no way they'd give 15g's to a pimp for the girl
I'm going with the message for next seasons intro song. Can't wait for the season finale,. Really sucks they're only doing 3 seasons

Thought that was nicely realistic myself. in that period mob were increasingly using legit front hi-profile businesses, and the development of porn mag and movie distribution was a huge part of it
Once they had the sit down with agent bytch (first instinct was to just 'liquidate' CC) they knew with all the attention focused on Lori and Candy that it was a smarter play to just make him a receipt instead of a loose thread with exposure
Now that CC's murked tho not by their hand they may regret that payout because heat may arrive anyway

Yea I never minded that actor but this scene for some reason had it like he was right there in my living room.
It reminded me of another HBO introduction scene in that you can watch it on repeat for the mastery, but Vince's old man aint gon feature nearly as much in the story to come. In a way that makes it even more impressive.
