Dems should have spent this entire year talking about Trump and not passing anything.

If they're not going to pass anything anyway they might as well talk about Trump :yeshrug:

They've basically passed one thing of significance, which won't move the needle anyway, they should have time to also actually fight back against Republicans.

My point is the damage Trump and Republicans will do in 2022/2024 is going to make any laws passed this year pointless. Dems keep mortgaging the future for the quick gain If we don’t get all the insurrectionists convicted what will it matter if they just take over in a year or 3?
If voters decide to vote for Trump and Republicans in 2024 then that's on voters. :mjlol:

They've already passed nearly 3 trillion dollars worth of legislation this year:stopitslime:

Govtrack.us

Thanks for the link :ehh:

Search Bills in Congress - GovTrack.us

Although it's a stretch to say that anything on there besides the Infrastructure act is of much significance. Obviously that's because of the GOP, buy that's my point.

If the GOP isn't going to let Dems pass anything to help anyone then Dems should spend that time criticizing the GOP instead. Go on offense for once instead of waiting for them to attack.

I agree with OP, GQP reign is preferable to this :francis: amirite??

Obviously not.

The problem is that their lack of backbone is leading us straight into another GOP reign that'll be longer and worse than the last one.

Are we really pretending like they didn't pass the COVID relief bill or that they did but that bill with the stimulus checks and 300/mo per child wasn't significant?
