Among many things u would think a NFL game in 2024 would have

2K5 had 1st person pov football

Bro you forgot the vintage NFL players Vintage Teams
No real challenge system. How the fukk a 20 year game has a better challenge system then this shyt
No field degradation
No custom throws or play style of individual players
Game still cant throw fade routes
Still broken Oline animations
Still cant get player scans only for a select few

Alongside with myself and pop watson’s dad was my other homie who we all rocked out the first madden on commodore 64. He was on the EA forums about 15 years ago talking about the improvements they needed to make and they flew him to California along with five other people.

He was a BIGGER 2K5 fan. I will get some more details about his time there, but he was pissed that they didn’t take any of his suggestions

Man, I haven’t played or bought madden since Calvin Johnson was on the cover. Too much foolery for me. Haven’t even touched it on nextgen systems lol…


I told myself with that Madden25 bs that that was it for me and I meant it. Saw how they dogged franchise for that MUT crap and let it go. Been happy ever since. Kept a copy of NCAA14 from back in the day and am playing it on my old 360…but even that is annoying wit the super LBs and DBs that run the route better than your guy. Plus the bs animations smh…but that dynasty mode is immersive…

Was wishing the best for madden then I understood that ALL games damn near going this route. They catering to the people dropping extra cash after the release…all the “day 1” game modes get left in the dust or never updated or drip feed with features bc it’s not making the money. Shameful ish man. Can’t just buy the game for (damn near)$80 anymore and get a full immersive game. They always try and get you to spend another $20-50 smh
