The business will hold up for a while but it won't be as big as Vince made it to be and will eventually go back to being a niche sport and cease being mainstream. Who knows if HHH and Stephanie will think outside the box like Vince did of if they will try something else. Either way it will be a dark time in the WWE when Vince moves on.
Wasn't it Shawn and Trips who had to help McMahon know what was "cool" back in the day? Honestly, I don't think The Helmsleys taking over is gonna be a bad thing.

wow, I was thinking about this yesterday....
Thinking about how it would be announced on the news and make worldwide headlines... and no one would take it serious at first.
I was also thinking that-

I also think that... you know how it looked like wrestlers could barely function in the ring after Eddie died, after Benoit died and ESPECIALLY after Owen died?
There wouldn't be none of that.
I think Steph would stay off the air.
There would be some epic storyline about Shane coming back to run the company because "That's what dad would have wanted" and he'd be up against Trips.....
There would also be some legit shyt in Vince's will about kayfabe leaving the company to his son Hornswaggle just to fukk with you all.
And I think that while, yes, the company will NEVER see another wrestling boom like the 80s rock n wrestling and the Monday Night Wars, it would move on to a much better place product wise. Vince has no idea what the fukk is going on in the minds of the fans and only uses his empire to cater to his own musings.
It's been like that for the better part of 10 years.
It's like watching a Dictator build an almost invincible army then not use them, then crush his rivals through politics and then uses his army to fight each other to the death in his private area.
