That's not the current version of Batwoman. The original Batwoman was romantically involved with Batman for a time before being killed but the new Batwoman that the TV show is based on is Batman's cousin and has been a lesbian since her creation.

I think you are talking about Barbara Keane. In the comics she was Jim Gordon's first wife and mother to Barbara Gordon/Batgirl.

The actress had zero chemistry with the dude playing Gordon on GOTHAM so they first hinted at her being into women then turned her crazy and after that she was a full-blown lesbian.
