Who doesn't need a loaded team to win? Tom Brady was on a super stacked tampa bay team and stafford was on a super stacked rams team. Teams that are aggressive in FA are the ones that are winning in this day and age.
Not every team that wins the Super Bowl is super stacked. 17 Eagles, 07 and 11 Giants are teams that come to mind off the top of my head. And even if you go down the list alot of those teams aren't "stacked", but they're teams who put it together and got hot at the right time.
Breh Dallas in 2021 had more Pro Bowlers and All Pros than the 2020 Tampa and 2021 LA COMBINED. Dallas had 6 Pro Bowlers and 4 All Pros.
Rams were super stacked? Running game near the bottom of the league, Woods missed the 2nd half of the season, OBJ was only there for the 2nd half and missed half the SB, Higbee didn't even play in the SB. Solid defense led by AD and Jalen, but Von came on late and the secondary was so banged up that they had to drag Weddle out of retirement. Not "stacked" by any means, but they rose to the occasion. Only 4 PBs 1 APs
2020 TB? Great team, but super stacked? Remember halfway through folks were saying Brady was washed. Here and in the media. Go back and read. Running game below average all season until Playoff Lenny stepped up late. Great WR core, but Godwin was banged up, AB came halfway through and Gronk was dragged out of retirement. Defense was solid, but it was literally the same defense from the year before that finished near the bottom. When the time came they rose to the occasion. Only 1 PB 2 AP
Hell, even look at Cincy. Burrow came through and took Comeback Player of the Year from Dak. Similar setup. Great WR core, but top to bottom ours was better. Average running game, average defense and worst O Line in the league. Managed to beat KC twice and win the 2nd toughest division in 2021. Young coach at the helm that was a QB himself just a few years ago (sound familiar?). Didn't matter. They rose to the occasion and almost won the chip. Only 3 PBs 1 AP
Draft, FA, trades it don't matter, there was more than enough talent on this team to go deep into the playoffs.
