Dallas just need to keep it real. Ain’t no need to bad talk him. Just say the contract cost too much and it’s time to move on because we paid Dak mediocre ass. :yeshrug:
Exactly. We all know this is for cap reasons. Unnecessary to smear him because you gave out bad contracts to Dak, Zeke, and Jaylon.

I don’t Fukk with Coop but this shyt the cowboys are doing is some bullshyt. They did the same to Dez even when he was trying to get paid (Where’s the Walmart video that is “worse than Ray Rice.”)

as much as I Fukk with Lamb, he’s starting to be content with being a Dallas celebrity (nikka constantly on social media and doing all types of commercials and shyt). But the worst part bout this it will be another excuse for c00nscott when he doesn’t produce.

W’ll need a Seattle 2012 defense just to win the division next year. c00nscott hit his ceiling and will only regress moving forward especially without Coop to save his ass

Two all pro receivers kicked out of Dallas on Daks watch:francis:
Nah Dez was already at the tail end of his career and the organization made the right decision by moving on. We'd be stuck paying him way over market value. As far as Amari goes, Dez and Chad Johnson made the observation that kellen Moore and the Jones family are calling plays to use him as a decoy while targeting other players. No targets = no catches, giving the franchise the excuse they need to not pay him. Dez's words not mine:hubie:

As far as the salary cap goes, we've been struggling with that when dak was on a rookie deal. Like another poster said, it's the cowboys way to mis-manage the cap. We should be used to it by now.

I disagree especially since we took a cap hit to release him. Reason I disagree is due to the bogus plan we had in place. We cut Dez expecting Allen Hurns, Cole Beasley and Terrence Williams to be sufficient. We start off 3-5 and then have to give up a 1st rounder for Cooper who we are releasing anyway.

very similar to 2008 when we cut TO. We started off 2-2 thinking Roy Williams, Sam Hurd and Patrick Crayton could lead the way. Fortunately A combination of Thise guys were hurt for the KC game which allowed Miles to start and he broke out. Again, shytty planning. As Michael Irvin said “you don’t just cut someone with 38 TDs without a strong plan in place”

we were better off keeping Dez for 2018 at least because we would have had one 1st round pick in 2019. Whatever tho the 2019 season allowed us to finally be rid of Garrett but either way the front office literally ‘rented’ Cooper for a 1st round pick and it still netted us no NFC Championship game

Its fukked up that the Jones family is taking advantage of the fanbase. They know damn well this team not going to be shyt for the next couple of seasons, but they going to sell the the fanbase wolf tickets for the purpose to keep spending money on them. The Jones can get away with this fraudness because they are the gms and again no pressure on them.

I loved Dez but Jerry and cap boy overpaid him with that contract. Especially considering the last 3 years he was with us he missed 10 games due to injury(2015 and 2016). 2017 he had a decent yearand we all know how his chapter ended after being released in 2018. Didn't touch a field until 2020. Imagine having Dez eating up cap space for 2-3 years and not producing? Fans would have been at his neck.

Dez still had a lot more left in the tank. He was a pro bowler in 2016 and his second half of the season numbers were on par with his best season in 2014. Dez looked “washed” because of Dak’s regression

After he signed his deal in 2014 it was all downhill. Injuries slowed him down and he wasn't the same Dez we all knew...facts. Injuries did Dez in, not Dak. He made the pro bowl in 2016 as a replacement too so gotta take that with a grain of salt. does Dak get credit for getting Dez to the Pro Bowl that year?

I never said he was washed:hubie:

Just saying the injuries after signing his mega deal made it easier for him to be released. Also him beefing with Garrett and Witten didn't help.
I think the qb play(non-Romo) contributed to his decline more than his skill. He been the same kind of wr his entire career. It wasn’t an issue until Romo career deteriorated

I was at this game.

I remember after his first score he “stole” the cowboys banner from “Rowdy” and ran from end zone to end zone waving that shyt getting fans back into the game screaming “we not done.” :mjcry:

Dez brought us back by himself.

if not for David Irving being put in a million dollar dream we advance :mjcry:
