Been watching some old Cowboys games from the 70's, 80's, and 90's since the season ended. Youtube got a lot of full games uploaded now. The difference between this era of Cowboys and that era is that when a big game-changing play was needed back then, someone always stepped up and made THAT play. Always. A big sack, a big interception, a big catch, a big throw. People assume the Cowboys back then just blew out all their opponents. That's not true. In fact, in some of the biggest championship games of the past, the Cowboys were actually outplayed for large swaths of those games but someone on the team always made a big play to change the momentum and once that happened it was a wrap. What Emmitt and Deion are saying is the cold hard truth - in big games, you simply cannot count on our best players to show up.

Ya'll gotta quit saying this. We had a second year DT in Gallimore that was hurt most of last year and a rookie DT in Odi that was balling until hittin a rookie wall (imo). I rather keep giving them playing time and bank on them being better than to draft for the position.

Too early to call Diggy a jag. He played too well in the 1st half of the season to just cast him away already. I need to see him again after another full offseason. He's a worker so I expect him to get after it in the offseason. Sir Gallimore is a backup tho.
