Not true.
Not that I know the struggles of a 120-IQ nikka, but speaking from the perspective of a 160-IQ nikka, a LOT of shyt depends on personal circumstances.
And this is from someone who has done a lot more than most IRL.
Also coming from someone who never really considered themselves a genius even though I was in the 99th percentile in school. It would explain a lot of shyt, but I'm still reluctant to take on the title.
What did I say that wasn't true?
I agree on your personal circumstances point though. Pretty difficult to go from sheltered to Brad-Pitt-Fight-Club.
Here's where I'm coming from though; from what I see from trolling the internet, a lot of smart, intelligent, genius etc. people are hopelessly depressed, angry, live in their heads etc. I would know, I consider myself very smart, and there's no way to make that not sound arrogant so I'll run with it.
I was really smart but I didn't fit in anywhere at all and was a very unhappy person in general. What good is being a damn genius if you hate yourself and / or your life? Are you really a "genius" if you can't find a "solution" to your unhappiness and loneliness?
This article puts it in perspective better I believe.
