The curse of the INTJ. Being a genius is a curse rather than a blessing. Creates a lonely feeling ..

My nikka I go threw the same shyt
All my report cards had the ability to better on them shyts all my teachers tell my parents that I could easily pull a 90+ but I just don't put the effort and my parents look at me like I'm a a$$hole

My high school GPA was a 3.4, I never...well almost never did my homework. I'd get instant A's in my tests. I bombed on my SAT, however...dunno how that happened but whatever. Black people never seem to do well on it.

Point I'm making is I could have been valedictorian had I just tried.

Not true.

Not that I know the struggles of a 120-IQ nikka, but speaking from the perspective of a 160-IQ nikka, a LOT of shyt depends on personal circumstances.

And this is from someone who has done a lot more than most IRL.

Also coming from someone who never really considered themselves a genius even though I was in the 99th percentile in school. It would explain a lot of shyt, but I'm still reluctant to take on the title.

What did I say that wasn't true?
I agree on your personal circumstances point though. Pretty difficult to go from sheltered to Brad-Pitt-Fight-Club.

Here's where I'm coming from though; from what I see from trolling the internet, a lot of smart, intelligent, genius etc. people are hopelessly depressed, angry, live in their heads etc. I would know, I consider myself very smart, and there's no way to make that not sound arrogant so I'll run with it.

I was really smart but I didn't fit in anywhere at all and was a very unhappy person in general. What good is being a damn genius if you hate yourself and / or your life? Are you really a "genius" if you can't find a "solution" to your unhappiness and loneliness?
This article puts it in perspective better I believe.

yo X man i kinda feel you im a INTP so i share some of the same traits. my advice to you would be to steer clear of drugs bro. people who live in their heads, certain drugs like Opiates are tailor made for that. they basically put those voices on mute. steer clear of drugs especially opiates and benzos and try to find a physical outlet, not just a creative/intellectual outlet. get out there and play ball or lift or goto the park and do dips or something every damn day. shyt join a co-ed soccer league or something. you already got the "creative escape" on lock what you need is something physical to balance yourself bc you cant be in your head 24/7 trust me...its no good and eventually your art WILL suffer
Y'all I agree....I plan on walking soon...just to start out exercising

If you were such a genius you would learm how to integrate into society while keeping your own ideas to avoid your supposed loneliness, Dr.Genius.

Not true, Christopher Langan is the smartest dude in America with an IQ of over 200 and dude ended up being a bouncer at a bar because he grew up in a dysfunctional poor family.

His story is actually pretty sad.
