I'm in Brooklyn and I didn't hear anyone wanting the Indians to win. Everybody said Cubs. I was conflicted on who to choose cuz I feel like the Cubs are likely to go back multiple times but they got the longer curse. At the same time, I dunno much about the makeup of Cleveland, but it feels like they're less likely to return than the cubs.:yeshrug:.
I feel the exact same way. Win or lose, the Cubs are set for awhile. They'll be ok in the long run :manny:

On the other hand, no one I'm aware of had the Indians beating the Sox.

They are also likely to return. Their best hitter, their hitting catcher, their 2nd and 3rd starting pitcher never played a playoff game due to injury. After this season, they are all returning including Andrew Miller for 2 more years. They will have to pick between Carlos Santana and Mike Napoli and that's about it. Team will be way more loaded next year.

All I gotta say is, PLEASE finish this tomorrow Cleveland. How wonderful would it be for all that hoopla coming into the weekend, only to have the Indians win all 3 games, and the Series, at that dump they call Wrigley.

I'd start Bauer. All you need is 5 out of him and maybe Salazar. I'd keep Merritt's soft tossing ass away from Wrigley. If you're gonna pitch him, do it back at home if needed. And with Lester on the mound, no more p*ssyfooting if you get on base. You get a runner on with even average speed, green lights everywhere.
