The McMahon's being MARKS for themselves and other forms of entertainment and being marks for the guys they choose to get behind. Fans blaming Roman are missing the point that Vince is a mark for him he has painted a picture in his head of him overcoming the odds and every time he doesn't get the reception he wants Vince figures...not yet but it's still happening. Them being marks for their guys and themselves is the reason that Shane would have a more competitive match against Lesnar than the talent and them being marks for general entertainment and ashamed of wrestling is the reason they want to present wrestlers as down to earth normal people instead of larger than life characters in an absurd world where they settle their issues in the ring, I've seen several wrestlers say they play characters like actors and that shyt turns me off to the whole thing and makes me wonder why I even watch. It's like a magician saying he's pretending to do magic, we know. I think that's what I liked about LU some of its off the wall but they have an overarching theme, everyone on the show wants to be champion and they don't ignore their history or don't contradict the legitimacy of their world. shyt doesn't have to make sense to follow logic.

Vince McMahon is 72 yrs old with a wife in the political game, a daughter who is trying to be mainstream, advertisers he has to satisfy and no WCW around to challenge him. On top of that he's stubborn and no one has ever accused him of being up to date with what's going on outside of his WWE universe. They need a reset creatively badly. Commentary is too robotic, the World title belts are the same, just a different color and all the sets outside of WM look the same. Also Kevin Dunn's action movie quick cuts are annoying. The roster is fine but the booking is justI'd see what Mark Henry could contribute booking wise. Discovered Braun, helped Neville cultivate his heel persona, maybe he could help producing some of the matches

I don't like wrestlers using their real name on social media as part of their twitter handle. If it were up to me I think I'd only have wrestlers on social media under their stage name and posting things that go with their character.

For me it's not them breaking kayfabe on the internet, to be fair you'd have to be a huge mark to follow a wrestler and want to see them behind the scenes but WWE is so weird and inconsistent with protecting kayfabe. Rusev and Lana get heat for leaking their engagement to tmz when they're broken up on tv but WWE was uploading videos of Braun Strowman dancing around in a elf costume while he was still a heel while also making him take down pictures he had where he was paling around with Roman Reigns.
