Wrestling is a tv show. It’s more comparable to breaking bad or game of thrones than it is a sport. If a black character on the show is portrayed poorly, it’s because someone wrote it to be that way… which I why I say stop watching the shyt lol

This is in line with how I feel. TURN THE TV OFF! I would never keep walking into a store where I feel they treat me like shyt and don't like my kind. It'd never be that important to get a soda or a bag of chips from THERE when I could go elsewhere. So if people are SOOOOO convinced that a bigot is running the show and everything being done is a malicious dig at Black people, why is it not considered an option (or considered a "troll answer") to say stop watching? Because at the end of the day, MFs don't REALLY care. Just like all them times people were so furious at R. Acting like the wrestling industry in general, for as long as we've been watching, hasn't leaned first and foremost toward the interests of white folks is WILD. When I stopped watching in the past, it was definitely because I just didn’t really enjoy the show anymore. I stopped watching for like 5 years lol.. For me, it wasn’t really about how black wrestlers were being used or anything..


Even today, a big reason I haven't watched wrestling since before the rumble, aside from the fanbases turning me off - I just wasn’t feeling the shows like that anymore. With basketball season turning up, I’ve been occupied with that over wrestling

I personally didn’t think the shows were racist when I was watching though, but I’m also of the belief that wrestling historically isn’t for black people so I don’t tune in expecting to be catered to. Like I said earlier in the thread, it’s low brow hick redneck shyt.. I don’t watch anime expecting to see black characters portrayed like lords. nikkas might like anime but I fully understand that’s a Japanese space. It don’t exist to cater to me lol
