A person like that will compromise their own personal beliefs IF it gets them ahead. If he felt pushing black talent would put him in a better place in his career Bobby would be on a Lesnar run right now. He books us like this because in his mind it serves him no purpose other than a moral victory.

Gunther is such an AEW coded wrestler. I 100% believe that if Vince had stuck around for whenever Gunther’s contract was coming up for renewal that he would have bolted to AEW and be one of THE top guys there. But he’d also probably reverted back to being fat as hell.

He graduated high school. Now he's in college. Where he's just 1 of a million. No one knows who he is. He just attends his classes and sits in the back of the class... That's if he even cares to show up. He just barely passed the midterm but his final exam for year 1 is looking bleak.

But it should be clear by now that NXT is essentially high school/college ball... which by no means ensures an instantly great NBA career. You might be Jordan, or you might be Sam Bowie. It's not an instant shot to the top of the card soon as you hit the main roster. I think the only ones so far that got instant prominence have been Bianca, Sasha, Charlotte, and of course the Shield.
