Still haven't answered why is it a problem we talking about this? I will wait

A tag team won a title on a show that ran on a delay in the U.S. and that's racist? Come on bruh, we're all grown here. :russ: That's all I was referring to. It's one thing to speak on some legit concerns or things with some kinda credence, it's another to just stretch the imagination.

Have you spoke on them in here?

If you're askin' my opinion on the matter, here it is:

I think the biggest issue is that there's actually not enough black male talent on the main roster. I think they definitely need to bolster the roster with guys like Trick Williams, Wes Lee, and sooner than later, Femi. There needs to be fresh, new Black talent on the shows. Otherwise, there's basically only one newer guy and six others who've been there for 1000 years. For me, it's not who isn't winning a belt or who's losing matches, it's how many are on the roster to begin with in order to get pushes. That, to me, is what needs to happen.

Melo and Bron were neck and neck in NXT.. Both had numerous title runs and numerous main events under their belt.

Why is it that Melo is jobbing every week on the main roster and Bron has had a sustained push the entire time? In other words, I don't "buy" that it's just a lack of men on the roster.

Why would there need to be an influx of black talent on the main roster, when HHH can't book the ones he already has? Do you actually trust him to book Trick, Wes, and Oba better than he's booked Melo, Street Profits, New Day, Omos, and Apollo Crews? Sorry but I don't agree at all with your assessment.

Speaking of New Day... they were getting nuclear heat for weeks and to this point, unless I've missed something, they've been feuding with some LWO flunkies? :jbhmm:

This might be a controversial take, but I don't think the answer is in reheating people 10 times over. I think the more Black talent is on the roster, particularly NEWER talent, there's more spots for them to take. I don't necessarily need to see Apollo Crews get his 5th repackaging. I don't think Melo is anywhere CLOSE to being finished, he's only a year in on the roster (do remember John Cena was jobbing to every top babyface on SD at this same point in his career). The New Day is on a show where unfortunately, the tag teams don't get much play. Street Profits just had a gimmick change and won the tag titles so the jury's out on that. Omos? :manny: There definitely needs to be something done with him- they either need to put him on the show or let him go at this point, he's being held up.

It's not that I disagree that there's been a lackadaisical approach to the black male talent that's on the roster. But I also ain't charging people with racism because Xavier Woods isn't main-eventing. Call it whatever ya want. A wrestler not winning a belt or losing matches doesn't automatically = racism. For the record, Bill Watts was booking JYD and Ron Simmons in the main events and was still racist AF in real life, so that don't actually mean shyt. Also, let's not overlook that the three women currently in the most prominent women's storyline of 2025 are all Black. Agree or disagree, that's how I look at it.

I wouldn't say most prominent, I mean.. we'll see but Bianca might be moved away from this to focus on Iyo/Rhea and then you got Charlotte and Tiffany taking up a lot of TV time on their show, you know Vince would love that feud..

The Bill Watts argument makes HHH look even worse, because he was a known racist but put money over personal beliefs. As for the Melo/Cena comparison, When Cena first appeared on the main roster that's not a good comparison. Cena was a complete unknown that was coming from OVW, whereas Melo was a top act on NXT which was seen by more people. HHH booking less talented/popular white wrestlers over more talented/popular black wrestlers is why he gets the racist label thrown on him.

The Bill Watts point means that how a wrestler is booked doesn't mean shyt when it comes to real life... if we were to base real life feelings off of what we see on wrestling - especially on wrestling - we'd be wrong about a lot of MFs. Hell, we'd DEFINITELY still think Hulk Hogan liked us and we see how that panned out. So conversely, just because someone isn't booking certain Black wrestlers the way we want 'em to be booked does not inherently mean they hate Black people. It also doesn't mean they DON'T for the record either. I wanna see what happens when more and fresher talents (especially Femi) hit the roster.
