It's a shame because Punk coming back was the turning point in me becoming a fan again. I had no idea TKO taking over the company was going to have this long-term effect where it became more right-wing.
I guess this WrestleMania is more crucial than I thought. If they don't stick the landing this weekend, it's going to be the first real sign that something's wrong. They need to tread lightly with their political bullshyt before they start alienating more fans.

I became No Watch Gang in 2019 because I was just tired of the product and complaining about it wasn't fun anymore. I got to see KofiMania before I quit, and I watched WrestleMania 36, but other than that, I was casual up until Punk returned. Something I always thought would happen, but still couldn't believe when it did. It helps that the company was putting out quality segments every week and it seemed like guys had a different energy surrounding them.
Now, it feels like they're coasting. Cena turning heel should have been a huge deal, must-see TV every week and it just feels like something they wanted to do before he retired. Before the Rumble, I was considering watching Mania for the first time since 2020, but I think I'll pass.
