Yeah that made no sense. Caleb Martin was clearly their most consistent player the entire series.

Jimmy had the masterful G1 and G2 plus he had a lot of “big impact shots” in G7. He was mostly ass in G6 but he almost single handily brought them back in the 4th quarter and clutched in 3 FT with White hitting a miraculous buzzer beater but Jimmy still stuck out.

I think Martin should have won it but it was a 1 vote difference and I could see why winning those 1st two games in Boston’s house, how Jimmy did it, could sway some people.

The only argument is the defending and even then Brown isn't that good defensively anyway and like you said, we have great defenders on the team already, you can hide someone on defence if they're giving you 32 points and 7 assists on the other end. Look at the FT% too. How many times you see the Celtics go to the line and brick FTs?
