Looking passed the great/easy Halloween costume and emo vibes. It was done better than the books. We get a multi layered Eric Draven, the melancholy, the avenger, the crass, the jokester. He's as much playful "dead" as he was alive. You can tell Lee understood the duality of the character. He didn't play him like a hardboiled Noir cop, instead he added a flawed side to the hero in a time where we had time traveling robots and Rambo running around blowing up people into chunks.
And while Proyas has two strikes on his directing credits (Knowing, Gods of Egypt), you can tell he did these because he needed the cash and not because he dived in. With I,Robot and Dark City, he delved into the human condition and philosophy...Draven isn't just a careless, listless avenger, he's a man removed from time, who's ultimately perpetuating his own hourglass with every move he makes...or doesn't make.

I'm not really optimistic about this
I enjoy Momoa don't get me wrong (Khal Drogo
) but I personally don't think he's right for this.I think Cilian Murphy would be good,maybe the kid that just played Pennywise
Also,they could just do a crow other than Eric Draven

I honestly wouldn't mind if they did Iris Shaw...the first female crow...her arc being far more gruesome as she doesn't have the ability to heal, so she has to staple all wounds and rotting flesh together.
