Bingo.Meh. Say it plain: these people will never lead or support a successful national campaign for anything. It’s a mixture of purity politics and a longing to simply destroy the system, neither of which appeal to the American people.
Consider their reaction to Occupy vs the reaction to the Floyd protests. They are outraged that the dumb blacks and browns don’t understand that the Real Enemy isn’t police or racism or whatever other force, it’s...capitalism. Yea ok. Outside of twitter nobody is sitting around hyped to destroy capitalism. They want the current system to work for them.

Certainly tone deaf. Crazy to think people are still doubling down on this rhetoric when biggest progressive wins have come in tandem with those who have actively been deeply involved in the BLM/George Floyd protests.Bingo.
They see more of a conspiracy that corporations are (rightfully) supporting BLACK CIVIL RIGHTS PROTESTS instead of seeing the spectre of white supremacy. its hilarious.
Whats funny is that i've been saying this for YEARS when it came to Sanders et al but people thought I was nuts. i ALWAYS saw through these people. When shyt got real and black people started drawing a line, they retreated back into republican lite shyt.Certainly tone deaf. People want to fix their communities and they want people to represent them who are involved it.
In the nearly 50 or so protests I've been involved in or captured this year there's always been a sort of side eye to the people speaking the capitalism message over the racial accountability messages.
they already have lowkey...I guarantee you most of these white leftists will find a way to oppose AOC if she runs for president.
