been reading bits and pieces about this spin-off and im down..the intro/annabelle story was right on the money!!

I prefer the dolls that don't speak or have minimal vocal unlike the spitters..chucky etc. The chucky before his preaching and the few head nods etc was more frightening.
Annabelle has potential.
i think the movie was called Dolls?.. a car breaks down in the rain and a couple spend the night in a house full of dolls, which of course come to life.. idk if they talked but they were scary.
the og childs play scared the hell out of me as a kid... had me going to the bathroom with the door cracked open, just in case i had to turn into a trackstar.
correct, that is Dolls. Good little film, enjoyable and has replay value.

The thing Conjuring did right was bring back that suspense. No cheap scares 
Hoping this does the same, especially since the doll scene in the beginning was one of the most intense parts.
