Increasing black representation at the expense of policies which favor us is not and should not be the CBC’s objective. Not commenting specifically about this race, just wanted to counter that point. We have to start caring more about policy and less about all this other shyt. If the “other” incumbent has been down for the cause policy wise, the CBC shouldn’t just dump them because a black person is challenging them.

They trolling. They are quiet with AOC tries to caucus CBC members with folks from other races, but trying to use this now as justification. Nonsense.
This is justification actually. Maybe there are other reasons other than a candidate being a CBC member or improving Black representation to back a candidate. For example why Meeks backs Engel over Bowman.

Neither, just based on some of your past posts I thought this omission would be something you would want to get to the bottom of. I guess not. lol

All my posts had to do with endorsements. But carry on.

low brow hit piece. They have not endorsed either candidate.

one side may takes that as, if your not endorsing me than means you support him. terrible opinionated post, and displaying it as a factual statement.

The rhetoric behind Meeks explanation is fine even if you support Bowman's ideology... it's the same reason they chose to endorse Capuano even though Pressely was everything you'd look for in a candidate (young, attractive, artculate, took the traditional political track). If you view someone as an ally then you don't stab them in the back.

Besides having a committee chair (Engel) owe you a favor is good politcs.

Oh they didn't endorse Pressley either? Is there a pattern forming? :jbhmm:

Who has AOC supported in primaries to CBC members that were other races?

The only one I remember was in 2018 when it was Lacy Clay being challenged by a young black woman.

And this cycle, her PAC has only endorsed a select few candidates in general. Change Takes Courage!
