Word and now there is a presidential candidate who calls himself a socialist running on an unapologetic left wing platform, while in 08 a moderate was being called a socialist as an insult
Even if Hillary wins I expect to see a democrat challenge her for the 2020 nomination when she reveals herself for the moderate conservative she is
Right, but then they fukked up and did not mobilize all the young people they brought out in 08. They literally disbanded the Obama for America team. shyt was stupid. And, realistically, more people identify as liberal than any point since 1973. The problem is, the people in power, do not follow the values of the American public. We could very well have a left-wing majority with a center-right political and business class.
I dont think people essentially move to the right, what happens is the old left becomes the new right
No, they don't this has been debunked. How many times do I have to post this? If anything, your post is the problem. At a certain point after college, people lose the time to do research and just base information off of what they knew and what their circle says.
