Usually he's referring to Juan Epstein when he says that. But I dunno. What's "That Other Show"?

Just finished it. Really good episode.
I guess if Corey was dissing the cops more, and saying black people should rise up and beat on the cops this would have got more attention in this forum.
But as he said, do everything calmly, by the book and respect the man behind the badge, then there will be no need to get hemmed up. No references to the recent killings.
I see a lot of young brothers getting dragged up by the police all because the first thing out of their mouth is "WHAT THE fukk YOU WANT FROM ME" and it all goes down hill from there
Good episode @CombatJack, whos up next?
Word up
Aye, Combat, just to say I'm a black brit from London and your show resonates all the way over here. So if you guys ever get the chance to do something live over here please do. I think your insight into our police and our black culture over here is incredibly different to what you may experience in the US, and it may give you more insight about why black brits are less affected by white privilege.
I love your podcast and I've been listening for a minute now, and your podcast is the 1st one I have ever subscribed to. Keep up the good work..Gonna enjoy that Jeezy episode next week! Please just have some of his adlibs playing in the background during the interview!
@CombatJack Haven't finish listening...but the sketchy, somewhat stuttering and being very conscious as to not to offend your non-black audience, when talking about the Black Plight, is why leaders like Rev Al and Hon. Minister Louise Farrakhan are to be respected and appreciated
Don't tear down individuals who are doing certain things that either you are afraid of doing OR can not do. Especially when there are no others volunteering to be the focus of criticism and backlash while trying to be the voice of the black plight
That other dude called Rev Al a snitch from the comfort of a studio, while Rev Al is currently on the front line, is the illogical disconnect that comes from a lack of perspective. The same dude blurts out, "human race," as to be perceived as being more inclusive, so non-blacks are not offended, while talking about being black leaders
Again, two different lanes. No need to create roadblocks for other lanes that you are not comfortable with driving through

The question still stands, has offending people and talking about conspiracies like Farrakhan made smart people not give a fukk about he has to say? Is it dumbing down black people which in turn leads to people not respecting what they have to say and on. We need smarter voices, but it seems as if no one wants to be the voice unless they are some loudmouth, youtube illuminati phd, religious people.. Who are only relevant cause they manage to get the support of so many people in (mostly) poverty stricken communities.@CombatJack Haven't finish listening...but the sketchy, somewhat stuttering and being very conscious as to not to offend your non-black audience, when talking about the Black Plight, is why leaders like Rev Al and Hon.
