Watched it recently. Decent film, but not even half as its predecessor, The Hustler. Saw that recently after The Color of Money.

The Hustler had some powerful acting. Probably not some people's cup of tea.

I love that scene with Phil Collins One More Night playing as he shoots pool.

The way Scorsese and others shot was so realistic in those days. You could smell the cigarette smoke and the pool hall itself.

I’m not sure if The King of Comedy was “underrated” as it was critically praised, but it was a box office bomb and wasn’t talked about that much.

I think Joker helped bring more attention to the movie. It was a really dark comedy and satire/commentary on celebrity culture.

I think Alice Doesn't Live Here, Age of Innocence, Bringing Out The Dead, Silence and Hugo are his least appreciated. I've always felt that his non gangster work is his best.
