I think I might throw everything else in the bushes and focus on school 100%. It's the only thing that seems to be going even somewhat well for me at the moment.

Work? :manny:
Finances? :francis:
Women? :mjcry:
Put your all into it. Success in school can lead to success in work and finances.
What's your major?

What do you mean you can't write? You can't put your thoughts coherently together on paper bad at researching organizing sentence structure or is it some type of writers block? Be specific maybe I can offer you suggestions. I love writing.

With that major you might want to go to grad school... Or med school... Or pharmacy school.

Thats what I was thinking. Pharmacy school will be quick. I wished i majored in biomedical engineering when i first started, so i can just get a job when I'm done w my bachelors. I want to change majors, but I'm already a junior. so I'm like ehhhhhhh... i need to get my life lol

Thinking about switching majors now, current one doesn't have many heavy job prospects and isn't as satisfying.
From Political Science & Economics/Accounting, to Engineering Physics as a part of a program that will get me a BS from my school in Engineering Phys and a BS from Case Western U in Mechanical Engineering.
I'm already a Junior though :mjcry:

lol i feel you I'm in the same boat. i want to switch from biochem to bio medical engineering. its gone add an extra year, and I'm so tired of school

Don't most uni's typically start offering most of the major related courses in junior year and up? I say that to say, perhaps you won't lose much time by switching majors.

They released the classes available for Spring semester, and I'm a little disappointed that the school isn't offering this Finance elective I wanted to take. I guess I'll take International Finance instead *shrug*

Hoping that someone here can provide some info. I am interested in applying to med school within the next 2 years. I'm a PA in the army and I've been practicing for a little over 7 years. I've been in ortho for about a year and was family med before that. My service obligation will be complete in about a year and a half, so I'm looking at options for when I get out. I want to become an orthopedic surgeon. However, im just not sure if going back to school at this point would be really beneficial. I mean, I'll be 31 when I get out. And IF I even get accepted into school I'd be starting at 32/33. So I'm a little apprehensive about that because I'd be considered a non-traditional student. Has anyone here started med school a little later in life? Lastly, I've heard about a PA to DO pathway offered at LECOM but I have not met anyone who has gone through. From my research on it, it appears that they knock a year off of med school in lieu of clinical experience. The major downside to that is that they are primarily interested in students who will go into primary care. They will accept those who aspire to other specialties as well, but getting accepted may prove more difficult. I'm hoping that someone here may be knowledgable on the program.

If anyone has info or advice that you are willing to offer I am here and ready to listen. :lupe:
