yes, that helps. Thanks.

Also, each program will tell you how long it should be. Most of the schools I applied for wanted a statement that was 2-3 pages and one had a 1000 word limit.

hmm, I don't see it. All they said was

Submit a typed autobiographical statement reflecting your personal and professional history and clear, concise rationale for seeking admittance to a master's program in Counseling. You may submit this in a single-file upload.

If they don't say I would stick to like 3 pages max. You could also email the admissions coordinator.

To all my brehs that graduated, is a minor really worth it?

Not even a little. If you were two classes from another degree, that would be one thing. But a minor? Boy, go get ya grad on. And congrats! Welcome to the world of black respectability. (Spoiler: you'll still be broke and black.)

I got an electrical engineering degree in ny, currently making 60k which isn't close to enough... im thinking of trying to become a doctor but if eel im too old and the debt is too much to take but I do not enjoy this work. I rather help people and be my own man.

The Atlantic wrote a article on what physicians are really earning.

Physician Salaries After Graduating Medical School

Doctors are spending more and more time in residency and fellowship programs—sometimes up to a decade—but their salaries during those years (accounting for inflation) haven't increased in 40 years. Factoring in time spent in school and residency, one study from economists at Yale recently found that the average female primary care physician would have made more money over the course of her career had she been a physician assistant.
