Get a master's. Be prepared to have to take some undergraduate math classes.
What kind of master’s can you get with a non stem or accounting degree that are worth something?

Was hearing MBA, but then heard it doesn’t matter unless the school you went to is a top one.

I don’t mind taking math classes for the master’s since I don’t feel as much of a rush with it and can take my time with it.

I’m open to any suggestions.

I don't really understand your question. Every master's is worth it, just like every bachelor's is worth it, provided you're getting it for a reason. If you're trying to get into Computer Science, get a M.S. in C.S. It doesn't too much matter what you did your undergrad in.

Wait I didn’t know you could do that with any degree. I thought that you would have to have had taken the courses in undergrad to get the master’s in CS.

Good to know now.

Would you happen to know what undergrad classes besides math I would have to take for the degree? And how do you feel about a master’s in IT?

As long as you meet program requirements you have a shot at getting in. I'd expect to have to take one or two classes on algorithms, possibly a class on compilers or something else low level. But that's going to vary by program. IT is much too broad a term. Your question is like asking how do I feel about a job in healthcare. That could be anything from a nurse, to a pharmacist, to a surgeon, to a business analyst.

I get what you’re saying with the IT thing because I keep forgetting that they’re different fields in it, but the bachelor’s is just IT.

One last question. Would you happen to know why people go back to get another bachelor’s instead of a masters in that field?

Until you just told me, I thought you had to have had the degree in that field, and then you could get the master’s in it.

Only thing I knew about was Law school or MBA, but if I can just get a master’s, I’d rather do that than undergrad again.

Good looks.

Generally, an IT or Information Systems type of degree will put you down the track that people who go for certs is on. By the end you should probably have the knowledge for A+, Net+, possibly Sec+ and possibly CISSP or CISSA (I can't recall exactly which, I don't go for certs). If you look at job postings that require those certs and like what you see, that path is fine for you. But if you're looking to do software engineering you're better off with a Computer Science degree.

I think most people going back are because they're trying to make a career change and may or may not have had a degree already. You don't need a degree in that field, but it'll help. You need to be certain of the requirements of the program you apply to though. Don't take my word as gospel and then get caught out when you start applying.

Tips? I need to cheat on every single thing when it comes to math.

:feedme:
Well in my case all of my algebra class the test were group test, so one of us in the group would just pull out a notebook and write down the formulas real quick while my professor was looking away.

in chem we were allowed to use our own periodic table (or they would supply us with one and take it back at the door when we were done) as long as there were no formulas or shyt we needed to remember written on it. I would just show the ta or professor a clean periodic table then switch em out real quick when I was sitting at my desk in a huge lecture room so they would never notice. If they were walking up and down the aisle in my direction I would just slide the periodic table under my test and act normal.

I made A’s in both classes.

snit might be different for you tho cause I go to a uni with like 30,000 people so larger classes you can get away with more shyt imo

My youngest daughter is about to go to school in 2021. What are the best psychology schools that we should be looking at and applying to?
