Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
Just finished my first semester of Grad School. Taking two classes, while working full time, and being a relationship. Felt like I aged about 3 years in 5 months, and this was only the first semester. :wow:

I got an A in one of my courses though :blessed:

The other course is curved, but based on the syllabus I got a C, however my final grade is showing a B:patrice:.

Pray to god that's the grade that shows up on my transcript. :troll:

Holy shyt, do you want to be employed when you graduate or not? You don't need a degree to work for a non profit. Most of them take volunteers. You also don't need a degree in Africana studies, you can read a few hundred dollars worth of books on AA history instead of spending thousands annually to hear cacs teach you about your own history.

Nothing wrong with pursuing your own interests but go after something tangible that will lead to employment. otherwise you're going to wind up in debt with a worthless degree like millions of others. REMEMBER I SAID THIS. If you don't know what you want to do, take a break until you figure it out. Don't waste your money or your parents money if you're not certain what you're in college for. I'm not coming from a place of condescension either. I wasted my parents money for a few years bullshytting around because I was in college like a chicken with his head cut off who had no idea what he wanted to do and I feel guilty about it to this day. You can help inner city youth by acquiring knowledge that make you employable and then passing it on for free to the youth. So if you major in accounting, you can become an accountant and mentor single moms or young black teenagers/adults on financial literacy. You're still contributing to the building of your community but you're employable as well.

STEM may not be as viable in major cities like NYC as it used to be but in TN? I guarantee you if you have a STEM degree at 22-23, you will be above 80-90% of people in your age bracket who are native to your city

I’m not doing STEM. There is no way i’m doing STEM. It’s not what i want to do, i’m not interested in it. I’ve never been interested in it. If I were to do it I would be miserable no matter how much money i had or how many job offers I got. Math nor science have ever been my strong points nor have I ever cared even the slightest about them. I’m not doing STEM. And i’m not doing accounting either. Nothing about it interests me.

I changed my major to organizational communication to focus on working at a non-profit organization and working at a youth program and possibly starting my own and also as a backup if I decide to go into HR since i’ll be taking a lot of classes in that.

As you wish. No point in pursuing something you don’t enjoy. Just know that it is possible for this to backfire. It would be wise to have a contingency plan

How hard is it to transfer to a new school with 60 credits if you got a really shytty gpa like a 2.0 (I took a lot of classes I thought I liked and didn’t drop them cus it was gonna fukk up my financial aid) if I’ve basically dropped out of school this past fall I’m talking new state and all where I can get Residency if needed

I changed my major. I'm following my dream of being a author.
I was going for computer science/ information technology but I realized I hate coding. I'm pretty sure its easy to learn but its just not for everyone.
I withdrew from one of my classes that required coding.
And I toughed it out the rest of the semester even though I knew I really had no interests in them. I already knew right off the bat I can't fail so I don't land in academic trouble and maintaining a decent gpa will help financial in the long run .

I lost so must interest in the last few weeks I was telling myself just pass my classes with C's and I'll say its a victory.
Ended up with all A's and B's :ehh: 3.5 gpa.

now I can go into a field that interests me.

Also I remember talking about how excited I was to be out partying and smashing chicks going to campus. And you guys killed me saying I won't last long.

Ironically I stopped being excited about going out bar hopping or house parties by the first month. I'd just have a girl from my class come over to smash all semester.
Seems like the only ones that were out were 18/19 year olds who never partied before this. All the house parties and bars were crowded and it took lie 6 mins to get one beer. Kind of just asked myself whats the point of all this when i can just have a crew of friends or a girl come over in my own apartment?

Think Im kind of lucky going to a uni after hitting being a young adult because now i just feel like im trying to take best of this opportunity.

I don't know honestly. I'll find out soon though. I will have two majors now both being in Major and Creative writing so automatically I will improve.
Unless you actually mean writing in writing something creative?
Initially I meant grammar, structure, all that good stuff but then creative writing crossed my mind. So both :ehh:.

Grammar most likely average as fukk if that compared to someone who truly knows grammar.
I feel like I have to be at least decent in grammar if I am on forums all day.
Obviously since all of my classes will be writing from now on. I will improve.

As for creative I think I'm good. Most likely we are all amazing with our imaginations and its a beautiful gift because even when you get old you can still create it doesn't take physical requirements. Like how old is Stephen King and hes still writing decades later. It just happens to be not everyone explores their creativity. And for some people its just not in them to sit and write out a story as I found out its not in me to look at some codes.
