The College Dropout is Kanye's best album followed by Late Registration

Why?

Cause it's got substance, soul and humor, focus and hunger. You can't lose with those 5 qualities right there.

The songs on The College Dropout just took me back to what I felt Hip Hop at the time was missing as far as what mainstream artists at the time were doing and Kanye made Hip Hop feel good again with this album.

The College Dropout album is like good old soul food.

Late Registration is a much more polished with the instrumentation and the precision of it's production and the sharper lyrics but honestly, there isn't a song on there that's got the same exact feeling of Family Business, Jesus Walks, All Falls Down, Last Call (I'll Be Late comes close to Last Call but still not quite), Two Words, Through The Wire, Spaceship and so on. I'm not trying to short change Late Registration by any means (especially when I've even thought of it as Ye's best album a few months back) but The College Dropout is his best and then Late Registration is right behind it.

The most impressive thing about ^that^ album is honestly the production on that album. But on The College Dropout, it's the SONGS; from the rhymes to the beats.

I think some people done really forgot how great The College Dropout is. I know I did till I started revisiting it again

Damn! I remember having a couple of his mixtapes that came out before the album and just loving those mixtapes. Songs like The Good, The Bad, The Ugly with Consequences. The beats were just so soulful and the rhymes were fun but also came with some substance. His music was a fresh air of breathe
