That topic is worth discussing, but since it's a townhall meeting, I think a bigger issue worth discussing is the whole "only-three-black-head-coaches-in-the-NFL-and-Lovie-Smith-gets-thrown-in-the-bushes-for-an-untested-college-coach-with-zero-NFL-experience-with-a-$32+ million-contract-for-five-years-while-Andy-Reid-gets-picked-up-by-Kansas-City-what's-that-all-about" issue.
Look, there are highly qualified white coaches out there, but isn't Lovie Smith highly qualified? There are black college coaches out there who are good, but I don't think they are qualified to be head coach, but I do think they can fill in an NFL offensive coordinator position. I think all the offensive coordinators in the NFL are white.
Rooney Rule was thrown in the bushes. Thank you NFL team owners.
