Why haven't I had a notification after my post and only now? 
I thought the class wasn't happening anymore since I had no news

I've been doing art in some capacity for most of my life. Drawing, graffiti, painting, sculpting and digital. When the pandemic started I bought 2 lbs of plaster, a dremel rotary tool and some other shyt that just sat there since then. Well fast forward to me taking a couple of welding classes recently and I start to get the urge to sculpt again. I had sculpted plaster in college and took to it like a fish to water. This is the first piece I worked on recently, it's not done yet. I also started carving stones that I find outside.
My work area. I really wish I had a proper studio to work in but I'm making do with what I have.

Do tha damn thingMy work area. I really wish I had a proper studio to work in but I'm making do with what I have.
Rotary tools are amazing btw, I really wish I didn't wait so long to try it out. I got a Dremel knock of brand by the name of Goxawee on Amazon. I'm happy with everything so far but the flex grip extension busted so I have to use the main body and that gets kinda heavy after a couple of hours. Other than that everything is cool. Learning how to put it together and safely use it has been very fulfilling.

I’m gonna start this weekend. Getting supplies tomorrow and will be playing catch-up. Forgot about it right after I said I would do it. 
I'm trying to learn the limitations of the tools and materials I am working with. If what I make is aesthetically pleasing then it's a bonus but what I'm really trying to do is control the results of my actions with consistent, predictable results.

You have to use the drawing techs foer allt he shapes. After that you have to draw a quarter. Next you must start gesture drawing, then timed drawings. Then you got still life drawing. Skull drawings. Bust drawing. Then you got your portraiture: Full on, Profile. 3/4th turn. After that, nude studies.....and by the. Ya drawing skills should have improved ten fold.
All 5lthese shapes was to teach you light. You did good but I need them in stipples, hatching and cross hatching.
