This is kinda from the left field, but I like how they dressed in World War II. That shyt was a mixture of tough/classy at the same time. Combat boots with highwater pants/ a2 jacket and shirt with a tie. I dont like the scarf metro looking stuff.

I care most about brand recognition I suppose. I wouldnt pay more than $100 for dress shoes, since I only wear them a few times a month.

Cole Haan, Calvin Klein make good dress shoes in that $100 range, some higher than $100, some less. You can find a good deal under $100, but you'll be better off looking for a quality, comfortable shoe. Don't go cheap breh

Can't go wrong with Dockers (D1 fit). I'mma tell it like this. Brand name is not that important. It's all about how well you put your clothes together.
