Saw this the other day and it makes you reeeeeeeeally think twice about what you spend on footwear and how hype/perception has people believing these brands are “quality”

He tore those kicks in and basically said they are a fukking joke. I bet some of these footwear brands flat out hate this dude. But if you are spending $200+ on some sneakers it better look better than some b*stardized Stan Smiths and have far superior materials.

You always pay a luxury tax for items labeled as luxury so the thing is are you willing to pay that. I'm not.

I bought some new CPs that were worn once for $180. I'll buy some Koios or something which are very good quality for the price.

Anyone cop any Chelsea boots from Oro Los Angeles? How was your experience with them?

Bought some Koio sneakers for sale around $180 in a muted grey which I will think will look nice with denim and will pop out when wearing all black. Next to my Common Projects for comparison.

sashiko denim seems to be the trend in Japan right now. Every denim shop I went to in and around Tokyo had some kind of this style.

I got these Kapital ones because they were the most unique with a gray and indigo stiching they form a pattern on the front of the jean and back pockets. Most of the other brands were dark indigo stitch work that didn’t really show the craftsmanship.
