These are perfect for Mondays at work and interviews (dates/events where they are meetings and when you have to impress off initial impression). Nice silhouette.
Outfit ideas: Standard blue suit or medium charcoal suit with peak lapels or glen plaid (blue or grey) slacks with a white shirt and black knit tie
Breh, one thing tho: Perhaps its the lighting but they seem to be different shades (below the toe cap). Not too big of a difference to make one think they are different shoes but you know what I mean. Production gotta get $900 shoes correct, ya dig?
I know cordovan based on what I've seen discolors in light over time. It could be that. I just saw them on eBay and I was curious.
Honestly my next shoe when I get my bonus I'm going to buy these shoes.

Sid Mashburn shoes tend to fit really well for me and they rarely have a 20% on anything so I'm gonna cop.
You're right when it comes to the discoloration of cordovan leather.
As for Sid Mashburns, they are nice! Perhaps we talked about this already but, in the interest of potentially saving you $300+, have you tried Allen Edmonds, in particular, Strands, Park Avenues and Fifth Avenues.

I picked the ones in a similar color.
The first "nice" shoes I got were Allen Edmonds Strands. IMO AE is "entry level" in terms of luxury shoes. They were comfortable for a few hours but eventually got to be a bit too uncomfortable for me so I'd have to rest my feet a bit.
They are well made, but they don't offer as much support as some of the English Brands (Crockett & Jones, Alfred Sargent, etc) so I tend to lean towards them. I have flat feet and also plantar fasciitis so I don't mind spending a bit more on shoes. Even my Alden 990s have a very substantial sole and cushioning which I can wear all day.
Sid Mashburn uses Alfred Sargent as one of their shoe makers, also some of their shoes are Spanish made. The ones above I posted I tried on and are very roomy/comfortable. Plus the burnishing is very appealing to me. So that's my reasoning
Gotcha, my fellow brehthren. Imma fan of AEs. Have been interested in diving moreso into more luxury brands myself.
Just got these Sid Mashburn Cap Toe Semi Brogue in the mail. The color is more of an autumn brown color, almost reddish/orange in color. Truthfully the pictures do them justice.
Just LOOK how rich the color is in these shoes! I have three pairs of Sid Mashburn shoes and caught these on a sale so I'm happy to have a non-dark brown shoe in my wardrobe again.
Closed channel stitching on the sole, made in England. fukking gorgeous.
That hue tho
What 'fit would you rock with these?
