Im getting back $7,244. After the tax service (Turbo Tax) im getting $7,147

You must have a very well paid job, overpay ridiculously each paycheck, or have a couple of kids.

I'm getting back less than hundred federal, actually getting more back from state

I'm more of the "break even at tax time" type...instead of giving the government an interest-free loan on my money, I prefer to just have less taxes taken out to begin with.

I also help prepare returns for family and friends...a lot of folks simply don't know about the benefits of e-filing and/or the free tax return programs out there. I recommend TurboTax Freedom:

Its actually bad to get a whole lot of money during tax return unless you are in certain situations in where credits don't roll into the end of the year. You are giving the government a free loan this way. This is the most I ever got back during return season, but I did it for a very specific reason.
