Phonte - No News Is Good News

I'm just starting to get into it tonight. And it sounds amazing so far.
This brings me back to that Connected feeling.

Real shyt, I’ve been kinda disappointed with 2018, can’t say I really have a favorite album so far this year aside from black panther soundtrack...there are projects I really enjoy(ed) and then there are projects with dope songs, but as far as projects I’ve been playing in their entirety a lot, BP soundtrack is it

Victory Lap was supposed to be one, but it kinda dips toward the end, doesn’t really make me want to play it all the way through

Culture II was too long, too much filler, uninspired

Sir, loved his album, and maybe it will end up on my favorite list, but the tracks I loved from it just standout so much I don’t listen to the rest of the songs that often

Alina baraz’s new album might end up as a favorite, just listened today and loved it

Oh yea, Cozz may have dropped one of my faves this year also

Victory Lap was dope to me but I feel like Nip dropped some of his best music on his mixtapes and it kinda felt uninspired if that makes sense that Cozz album was interesting tho it was dope to be able to hear the growth from his last project
