Everybody needs to be in here active for real man, Win loss competing non competing. We need 16 competitor votes plus the two in the matchup along with whoever outside votes.

i feel like if you don’t vote as a competitor there should be a penalty.

I completely understand where you are coming from.

Forcing people to do what they have no interest in doing, doesn't work unless they see something in it for them, or really care about the forum, competition or place. It's almost like asking people to go to work, sure they will go, but the minute you aren't paying them, motivation is not present. Those that are motivated will assist, and those that are not won't. Sure there could be an opposed penalty, but what does the penalty do, as they aren't truly losing anything. I'll vote on the battles because I genuinely like the coli and been apart of it for 10+ years going back to the SOHH forums. Not being able to get new members hurts small group activities like ours in the "tunnel" but it's ok its to the point where you have to do with what's here. I felt that last year which is why last year I had people attend the battles from the main forum, but because that lead to controversy last year, I won't even do that anymore. Expect a small turnout but be thankful for the consistency, and for those that are here and active and maybe, just maybe something with grow from the activity we do get.

Yeah this has been an issue for awhile. Once we get into the second round and have everybody involved I'm going to attempt to promote more on the main forums but as @producingfire stated it's hard getting people to show interest in something that they don't have a vested interest in...even including eliminated contestants
