Ain’t it suppose to stop at lights too?

Yeah the stop light thing is a little retarded right now if I'm being honest. Basically when it sees a light it tells you it is going to stop whether it is red yellow or green. If the driver thinks it's safe to continue they hit the turn stalk.

They are going to compare the driver data with what the car thought it should do to automate the stop at red lights over time like they did with lane changes on NoA.

I’m interested in copping one but I live in an apartment. I don’t have my own designated parking spot but I could get one with a garage.

Can any brehs please shed some light on how the charging process goes for those of us that don’t own a home and want to charge at our complex?

You might be able to ask the landlord to install a charger that you and other EV owners can share.

Or if you live near a supercharger, you can charge there before you go home.
Supercharger | Tesla

There are 3rd party charging stations around as well, but they won't charge as fast as superchargers, you can look here to look at all the charging stations near you, including Tesla Superchargers. Adapters may be required.
PlugShare - Find Electric Vehicle Charging Locations Near You

Though as a disclaimer, Superchargers are really for road trips and not recommended as a place to charge frequently, it can promote early battery degradation.

As for overnight discharge, you'd most likely only lose 1-3% battery overnight.

I may or may not be in the market for a Model S in the near future. Anything I need to be aware of or look out for since I'm going to be buying used?

The best way to buy is to buy used. The model S I bought orginally sold for 110k I bought it for a 1/4th of that and he recently replaced the battery so its was almost like getting a new one without shelling out 100k

Look for model S between 2014-2016
The reason is those years are likely to have the lifetime free supercharging, and along with auto pilot.
Also dont get a battery less then 85kw, even on a used one the battery degradation is minimal eith almost no issues however many people report having issues with the 90kw,

The 60-75kw batteries start off at a lower range so the degradation will worse if your buying used

A used model s with a 85wk battery that hit 250 miles at full charge is a winner, I wouldn't get any used tesla that would be under 240 miles at full charge. Plus the 85kw is one of the more faster ones

Aren’t Tesla battery packs covered up to 10 years ?
