I'll be skipping this week also. Can we get some more current movies on the future movie picks? I ain't tryna watch this old shyt. Last week was a cotdamn silent movie. C'mon man

Speaking of silent movies... the recent Cthulhu one was pretty good. Folks are right, it's great to step out of one's comfort zone, especially when there are gems out there we might not have discovered otherwise.

i remember watching this all the time when it came out. great movie, pretty good special effects for the time from what i remember. cool story, MJ did a good job, was something different to what i was used to seeing from him at the time. horror/comedy/mystery type of joint. havent peeped it in a long time might have to download it and chuck it on again.

the Aether
Grafx: Dope. Especially considering the age of the movie.
Trax: Basic soundtrack
Breax: Basic acting. Good to see Fox all lively, tho.
Lyrix: Basic writing.

Was okay. :yeshrug:

some of the camera work was so jackson-y. you can see some of the visual style that made its way into LOTR
the scene with the reaper and ghost fox reminded me of the ringwraiths and invisible frodo in fellowship

it was campy but kept me entertained..the third act was too overextended though.

but you gotta love michael j fox

ps jake busey been creepy since the beginning of time

Ahh shyt I appreciate the opportunity. I'll do my best not to let anyone down. Just give me a few to get to the crib, I'm tied up a bit right now. Thanks again

So this won't be a long or in-depth interview but I love this flick. Michael J. Fox is awesome especially in one of his last roles before the Parkinsons got really bad. He has an energy and life about him. Chi McBride is awesome as usual, and I love the mix of horror and comedy. It would be nice if Peter Jackson could get back to doing something like this but it may never happen. 4/5
