my best hitter lol... do you even watch the games... i have 3-4 hitters that are better than machado this year unequivocally... i had a logjam i couldnt play eevryone and machado has been shyt this year... i already am gonna win rbi and hr easy... i need guys who can hit and get on base and he cant this year..

now i have a first rounder and if i want to pull the trigger i will have any pitcer i want... why the hell would brehs trade chris sale,strasburg kuechel etc. for machado to keep him in the first round??

no they want a first round pick which is what i have... thats your problem you play checkers not chess u cant see 2 moves ahead which is why u end up with gary sanchez for a 2nd... you would have been better off keeping benintendi real talk

i tried to but @HHR is unresponsive to anything outside of rizzo straight up which isnt fair from my perspective

So I am not gonna sell off my top players. Goldy,Blackmon and Strasburg were my round 1/2/3 picks and they can be kept, so sending them off for a 1/2/3 does me no good for next year and you'll just keep them, and if you don't, I can pick them again, maybe?

You're not keeping them. The person trading you the picks can't keep them because you have the picks. Imho your logic is failed.

If you plan on keeping them you'll just be in the same position next year.

Now I understand HHR not trading Dallas because he's a 7th round keeper. However, keeping a first round keeper and not having more picks just means you're treading water.

You'll have two picks in each of those rounds which would allow you to pick more often when those types of players are available

But if you trade them for picks in the 1st three rounds then you have 6 picks to add players as opposed to just 3 which goes to your keepers
