That's fine but half of this league took over teams already in place. I took a team over in a shytty spot and had to Sam Hinkie that shyt. That team doesn't have a pick round 4 through 8. That really isn't a death wish in this leauge. Especially since you can keep Villar in the 22nd, Bregman in the 15th, Manea in the 15th
You can do what you want with the team. Trade draft picks to get what you need, or tank and trust the process.
It really doesn't matter that much to us though, we'll rock with 13 and do expansion next year if we want.
i really would love a basic review of the drafting and stuff before we go... im a sports addict but i dont want to fk my shyt upnah nah dog u spit some truth to me, im in... count me in guys... its $40 dollars US?... when is the draft...

It's a snake draft based on last year's standings. The team you had finished in the money last year. The hitting categories are runs, HR, RBI, steals, avg, and on base percentage. The pitching categories are era, whip, k, saves, wins and quality starts.
You can keep up to 5 players in the original round drafted. All keepers can only be kept for 3 years before they reenter the draft pool. If you pick someone off of waivers they can be kept in the 15th round. Draft pick trading of picks for the next year is allowed. However an equal number of picks must be traded between teams. Your team does not have a 4th round pick but you have 2 12th round picks as an example.
Lately people have been tanking Philly style to set themselves up for the next year. Players who can't be kept usually get traded for future assets if you're out the race. The benefit of trading players you can't keep is that you get a draft pick and you know that player will be available next year. However, baseball is unforgiving. If you don't draft the right players you'll still lose. When people get out of the race they become sellers. If you sell late you might get pennies on the dollar. Or you can trade for potential keepers that can be kept at a low round. Someone drafted Carerra the 26th round one year and got the benefit of keeping him in that round.
It's a fun league.
thank you my man... the part where you say "You can keep up to 5 players in the original round drafted." so i can keep 5 players per round? what? doesnt every team draft once per round or what?
How many total players do u keep at the end of the year?
Also what do you mean if i pick up players on waiver, i can keep them in the 15th round?
dog count me in.. aint no such thing as halfway crooks
