And he may not be there when you go to draft... Which is why him at a keeper in round 14 has intrinsic value. But I digress...

I get everything you are saying but the intrinsic value is still less than a 3rd round pick. point blank period.

i lose my 3rd round pick GUARANTEED, for a value of player that is 3-5 round

thats the inherent disadvantage of these pick for player trades.... im giving up 3rd round pick for a level of player i could EASILY draft in the 3rd round - if i were to make the trade to you, i'd lose that pick... and have my 3rd round pick essentially made for me.

so the fact he is a 15th round pick doesnt really make a difference... and all of that being said... i would never draft him in the 3rd round, ever.

I think what you're failing to realize is that if you want to win money in this league this year, at some point you're going to have to give up high picks. The top 4 or 5 teams end up stacked once teams start selling

I get what your saying, but you guys are my enemy's in this league, so i have to take all advice with a grain of salt - every trade has a winner and a loser... and i'd rather go the entire year and lose the season, than be a loser in a single trade.... i'm building a dynasty here, i'm not gonna start flailing this early

@HHR Assume we're not able to delete the "Welp." team mid-season? Only ask because it appears something got screwed up along the way and the team has started accruing stats (right now it's got 14 points for ERA and 12 for WHIP). Initially was under the impression that the team would only roster non-active players.

Doesn't matter a whole lot to me because I'm a long-shot to finish in the money this season, but that could have a major effect on the standings come September.

its true, there is a way to bench all of his players, and then those stats would be up for grabs again

maybe we could do a deal with draft picks and players going both ways, but i cant trade machado i am trying to win this year too

and that said i am still interested in sanchez, but id have to give it some time to see what gattis and the other jabroni i picked up will do over the next 7-10 days
