I was gone say ive never scammed anyonestarting a few months ago, a lot of clubs started requiring deposits (25-50% upfront). During NYE a lot of clubs tested the waters with everyone prepaying (100%) ahead of time. Was a success, I would imagine moving forward in the near future (as ive stated earlier in this thread) that all Vegas reservations will require 100% deposit up front.
1. this cuts down on no shows/flakes. Anyone can PM me and say they want a table, but ive booked tables for people before and they go to another club then hit me back and say "shyt we ended up some where else" not knowing (or not caring) this looks bad on me cause im the one that made the reservation (everything in Vegas is tied back to the promoter, we have W9s with the clubs, contracts, etc. so if a lot of people flake the club will look at US as the liability).
2. separates real buyers from fake buyers. I get a lot of inquiries (im talking total, not just from this site). "oh yeah lets do that! shyt that aint nothing" but then I be like "well you got to pay it now" then its all a sudden
3. cuts down on scammers, which Vegas and other big party cities have. Example; that situation you had wouldn't happen if you bought in full from a real promoter or the actual club web site. Do research on the promoter (some promoters even have yelps). Verify through their site/social media. A promoter with thousands of posts and years of advertising will be more legit than someone with like 20 pictures and 2 weeks of advertising. Also try to look up site age and if they advertise through google adwords. Google not gonna let a scam site advertise through their system after multiple reports of scamming. Same with facebook.
edit: what could of happened is promoters who work directly for the clubs get comped tables/bottles. But if the venue sells out, then promoters have to give up their table. The promoter probably sold you his comped bottles/table not thinking the venue would sell out and pocketed the money. Then Light (which is a popular club) sold out and he gave you that BS excuse
the easy way around this is he should of sold you a low min table (1-2 bottle) and then sold you the 3rd bottle for discount/full price. That way you could of had secured the table and on top of that he could of pocketed $500+
sounds like you were dealing with a fresh/amateur

@itsyoung!! What's good breh. Just booked a flight, will be in Vegas Feb. 17-19 for a late bday celebration. Haven't booked a room yet. Anything good going on and any deals you could set a breh up with?
Spent this past weekend in Vegas 
to @itsyoung!! on the room deal. Stayed at the Westgate ,which was off the strip, but the monorail stopped there. 4* Room for $64 a night 
So much to do there , even for free. Got into Club Hekkensen on the free Guestlist Friday. Miguel performed . shyt was flames .
The Mariah Carey concert at Caesar's was incredible brehs
She did all 18 of her hits and looked good as fukk doing it. Them thighs 
She scheduled more shows through August due to the success.
My returning flight was early Sunday morning otherwise ,I would've stayed in town for one of the many Super Bowl parties at the casinos . Lot of people go to Vegas just to see the game and place bets, of course.
Hopefully, I'll can go again this year for Memorial Day Weekend but I'm going to try to roll deep if I can. A lot has changed between the first time I went to L.V. back during NBA all Star Weekend in '07 and this past weekend
It's even going to be more lit when that New Vegas Sports Arena opens in April. shyt looks good and it's right off the strip.
