now i got some rbs- i just picked up joe mcknight n ronnie brown- both of them are sleepers who i have a feeling will kill it this year- mcknight has a chance to take over shonn greene spot also if he starts killin it
Jets are my favorite team in football- they should def use mcknight as the #1 rb- shonn greene as the third down back n in goaline situations- and then bilal powell as the 3rd rb
also ronnie brown was sick in miami- his 1 year in philly was horrible but matthews is always injured- so brown could get alot of carries
now im happy with my team

CA Soul San Diego Style

As posted in a response to Coliseum League « Fantasy Sports by DaNamelessPimp
Instead of being known in the draft order as "someone who clearly didn't put their ID as their team name", I will be known now at the Coliseum as CA Soul San Diego Style. The team name for my Coli League team is St. Didacus Dons to pay homage to my city and its heritage.
As far as me being a homer reppin ' the bolts, I sense, with all due respect, some oakland raider bias by the writer or did you not make mcfadden your first pick? If I am wrong about that, call me out...
I know that Charger fan and raider fan don't make the best of friends, but it can happen. This I know because I have plenty raider fan friends..
Any way, My feeling is that you have severely underestimated my team.
You make it sound like Ryan Matthews will be out the entire season, when he very well might still play in Week 1 against oakland.
In analyzing my team, you say its average at best. Let's look under the hood, shall we?
The number one rated QB in Rodgers, a top 5 back in Matthews, a top 3 tight end in Antonio Gates, Darren Sproles only broke one of the oldest records in the League for all purpose yards last year and he is my backup..
Welker is still Brady's top target and Malcolm Floyd KILLS the raiders... Check out what he did last year against them in two games...
The jets have a problem with their QBs, as in two, so I look for Shonn Greene to get plenty of work running the ball. He got a 1,000 last year, and if tebow moves in, look for mcgahee type numbers for Greene.
The Steelers remember all too well Demaryius Thomas from last year's wild card loss at Denver. Now that peyton manning is the signal caller for the broncos, Thomas may have a repeat performance against pittsburgh.
Defense wins championships and Seattle vs. arizona is a good bet for the Seahawks D to just tee off on an anemic cardinal offense.
Kickers are kickers, but I look for Gostowski to make plenty of points EVERY Sunday..

I had asked everyone to make their team name their ID. Pretty much for these articles so that when people click on the links to go to our league page they know who is who.
I was extremely high on Mathews. And he won't play this weekend. He hasn't been cleared for contact yet, so saying he'll play is absurd. It looks like he'll play in Week 2, but the uncertainty of his injury makes your line-up pretty vulnerable. I don't think you have much depth and the waivers only do so much in a 10 team league when teams have great back-ups.
By the way, before making ridiculous accusations, take a look at where I'm from...

It's all good Nameless. I searched all over the internet to find a league to join, and was somehow led to the Coliseum, so don't think I'm trying to be hard or anything. I am happy to be associated with this motley crue.
SoCal is a big place, but being from socal and a raider fan isn't a strange phenomenom. They used the be the los angeles raiders...
I did not know by the way that you had asked that our team names be our ID, so I'll make it so and do what you asked.
FYI also, my twin bro is co-managing my team with me. His handle is TBU. Cool Cat with full authority to make the same changes as me. We are two who work as one...
I will agree to disagree on my team, although curiously if you look at the main screen for our league, under the scoreboard matchups on the right, my team was selected as the team that had the best draft by Yahoo. The Best Draft is awarded to the team with the most projected season points based on weekly optimal starting lineups.
At least now that I know where you are (generally) it may not be too hard after all to join you for that beer... Maybe then we can talk about what teams you root for, etc...
