It's best they stop mentioning "black males" publically because non black people will just find a way to flip it on them. Cats need to learn to start being more discreet with their wording with things like this.

This is great...but how long before a lawsuit is filed, claiming that this discriminates against white people.
I'm guessing that some of the organizations that received grants have been around for a while and have helped generations of Black men. As they succeed in life, they are supposed to contribute back to these groups to help them continue.

racists being racists shouldn't stop the work these organizations do. And as far the city commission dedicated for Black men and Boys, opponents fought against it being permanent, so again the idea is that networks are established and the work would continue formally or informally when the time comes.
