You know what the funny shyt is? I bet none of these racist ass whites, hispanics were mad about a white man, playing a character that was Japanese in the book source material. That actor being Brad Pitt recently in Bullet Train.
Ghost in the Shell and Edge of Tomorrow too

I think this is all ridiculous
Sometimes it seems they do this grand theatrical shyt just to get people to fight.

Me, if I wanted a brown character to star in more movies I wouldn't want to turn white characters into brown ones.
That's not being brown, that's like a transgender that was male and then transition with surgery to a female.

If I wanted a brown character i'd want A BRAND FUKKIN NEW ONE if one doesn't already exist, and if I wanted more then create more new ones.
They did this with Black Lightning, Black Panther and also Miles Morales in spiderman.

It's all BS to me tbh

To be fair I wouldn't use this as an example

In Japan, many fans were surprised that the casting had sparked controversy, since some had already assumed that a Hollywood production would cast a non-Japanese actress. One fan felt that the appearance of the protagonist was immaterial due to the franchise's themes of self-identity and the blurring of artificial and natural bodies.[89] Others pointed out that casting any actress of non-Japanese Asian descent (such as Chinese), may have been more controversial in the country.

According to Justin Charity of Ringer, "your average Japanese citizen's outlook on diversity is much less influenced by pluralism than the outlooks of many Asian Americans, who live in a country where popular culture rarely represents them well, if at all. Hence, many Japanese Americans may find Johansson's casting in a Ghost in the Shell movie distressing, while native Japanese observers make nothing of it."

The Director of the original anime movie said this

Paramount released a featurette of Mamoru Oshii, director of the anime films, visiting the studio, in which he says that Johansson exceeded his expectations for the role.[92] Oshii told IGN that the Major uses an assumed body and name, "so there is no basis for saying that an Asian actress must portray her... I can only sense a political motive from the people opposing it, and I believe artistic expression must be free from politics."

Japanese people in Japan didn't care. I remember one girl was interviewed and she said it's probably because they have a fetish for white people :russ: :mjlol: . Most of the complaints came from Asians living in the West.

I’ve long believed adult Disney people should be on a watch list. Nothing has changed that stance either. Ultimate weirdos

A lot of dislikes in the youtube trailer came from white worshipping asians and hispanics. The same folks liberals idiots say are fellow "people of color".
That's why tell black people to stop using the term "people of color" they don't feel the same way bout you.

They feel "outraged" when characters are made brown or dark because a large number of Asians view themselves as having white skin, which is true for some of them, but we all know skin color can vary between Asians, and other groups of people.

The thing is some Asians act as if they all have white skin, and it's the norm for them. (like they don't have a high use of skin whitening cream) :mjpls:

This doesn't happen with just Asians, it happens with other groups of people as well. Recently in a situation involving that popular game Genshin Impact, some people were upset because a new region was based around Egypt, but all of the characters had white skin. Some Egyptians came in caping, talking about "they, and all of their friends have white skin, so they're not bothered by this" They know damn well not everyone in Egypt has white skin, but felt it was okay to speak for everyone. :mjpls:
