The chubby girl who just happened to be in the background overhearing Kevin dismissing her as his girl while with his buddies was like a clichéd, recycled plot from an old sitcom such as Different Strokes or Family Matters... :heh:.

It was just a shytty way to end an episode.

"I really thought you cared about me" :mjlol:

The writing on this show is absolutely horrible. Both from a dialogue perspective (why tf are middle school kids referencing Nino Brown :dahell:) and a story telling perspective (This dumbass cop looked into the realty group several episodes ago, but never the owner? She's fixated on Brandon getting a new $75k truck and sees the dude drop it off to him, the same dude who always be at Perry's pizza and she couldn't make that connection yet she's making all these great leaps in logic simply cuz Reg is paying for food off the truck?)

I think we all agree Ronnie's annoying ass shoulda been gone. He's a horrible character. Can't believe they're tryna make us feel any sympathy for this child killer. He's a fukkup who took a kid's life and ruined a family's life. fukk him. His storyline ain't interesting at all. Only good thing is the few times it leads to Tracy's fine thick ass back on the screen.

We're supposed to believe that he's on some road to redemption through his actions

- Fixing an AC unit at a community center
- Getting a raggedy ass car to start
- Buying his ex's grandchild a few toys

This is all basic shyt :mjlol:

Then we're supposed to feel sorry for him cuz grandma "made" him turn the ringer off on his phone....as if there's no such thing as vibrate mode. :dahell: :snoop:

right and why didn't they have him and his crew back for season 2? They killed the white cop and that was just that or am I missing something?

Perry mentioned that Q went too far in killing the cop so they got rid of him. Yet I don't recall the dead cop bringing any extra heat on the 63rd mob. Instead, they're getting unwanted cop attention cuz they beat up an old lady in an absolutely ridiculous scenario they laid out (some outsiders going too far on a job where they were just supposed to scare her).

Really shyt writing all around. Can't believe someone(s) making a living writing this nonsense. :snoop:

I'm reaching but I feel like that girl may have cheated on Jayson and she has doubts if he is the father so that's why she pushed Ronnie and Tracy out of the babies life.

I hated how Kevin got caught off-camera with weed. They legit coulda made an episode with that actually taking place, especially since the last episode had us thinking the teacher was eventually gonna catch Kevin.
Probably couldn't due to only having 10 episodes in a season and the writers wanting to tell more of the story so they thought to jump ahead a little.

We literally have one more episode left for the season if I'm not mistaken.

Edit:Either that or the actor they had as the nothside prep student was not available.

that was revealed a few weeks ago when she was tryin to do all she could to keep money on her son's books to keep him safe since he's a known cop's kid.

True, that showed you more about who she is and that's when I started to think hmm maybe she is not so bad. Like I figured she really goes so hard when it comes to bringing justice to the streets of Chicago and stopping the gang members because her own son fell victim to the streets so its personal for her. She works hard to not only keep money on her sons books for protection but it was also revealed that she killed a boss, not sure if it was a boss for her sons gang or someone else.

However I still figured she was a dirty cop who hated black men till the most recent episode when I saw her being unbiased with Brandon and really trying to assess who he was fairly.
