True indeed. Now that you mention it, the only 2 males on the show who weren't fukk ups were Q (killed off), and Papa (mostly written for comic relief).

Breh Q was a rapist who raped Tracy at 16 and gave her a kid. He received her as a debt cause her step dad was a junky who owed him money added to the fact he was also a murder and drug dealer. He was the lowest of the low lol.

Ill give an example of what I mean with the writing. The whispery dude, I think his name is Ronnie... you’d figure he wouldn’t be able to come back to that neighborhood. But he does.
To show the tension they have a woman get in his way and spit on him. Listen, ain’t no regular woman stepping to a man solo like that. Especially one who murdered someone. That part was so unrealistic. They could have had someone else press him.

That's quite common in real life. Besides, the kid he shot was not gang affiliated, so no chance of retaliation. Not to mention.....Where else is his broke ass gonna go?
Seems realistic to me.
